Condition:
Excessive flow on vertical surface resulting in drips on the painted surface

Cause:
- Improper spray gun setting
- Thin paint viscosity
- Short flash off time when painting
- Thick paint application
- While applying spray gun could be too close to the object, or spraying speed too slow.
- Surface of the object could be cold or of low temperature.
Prevention:
- Mixing ratio of thinner and coating should be appropriate.
- Avoid piling on finishes. Allow sufficient flash and dry times between coats.
- Use proper gun adjustments, techniques, and air pressure.
- Maintain a decent distance between spray gun and object.
Treatment:
Solvent wash the affected area, let dry and sand smooth before refinishing.
